For items over $250 you will receive letter of acknowledgement as well as a Deed of Gift. We are unable to provide appraisals for items.
We're specifically looking for items related to:
the Forest Park Amusement Park, Amertorp Torpedo Plant, Vogel/Parichy Bloomer Girls, Harlem Golf Club, Harlem Race Track, Fisher Pen Company, Roos Cedar Chest Co. Krader-Wolf Brothers, Forest Park Theater, Circle Theater, Otto’s Restaurant, Homer’s Restaurant, Vogels Bowling and Billiards, Harlem Maennerchor, Altenheim, all the Forest Park Schools, the Park District, etc.
We love to hear from businesses and organizations; including those not around any more. We also love history of the early days of Harlem before the 1907 name change to Forest Park. Even things related to Prohibition and Forest Park's patriotism during the many wars. Old newspapers are great too!
