Members are an important park of the Historical Society, as a member you'll receive discounts on programs and special events, and immediate news releases.

Volunteer
There are many ways in which the Historical Society could use volunteers to help promote its mission of "collecting, preserving, and sharing" the wonderful history of Forest Park.  As a volunteer, you could be come in weekly, monthly, or at special events.  The Historical Society has many needs; such as, website/social media communication, research projects, general office, collection/Archives maintenance, tour guide, exhibit docent, special event/programming planning, and much more.

Internship
Internship projects have included archives and collection maintenance and various historical research topics. Internships need to be approved prior to the start of each semester, by the Historical Society and the school in which you attend.

Forest Park friends of Historical Society of Forest Park Facebook group is a great place to discuss the local history and memories.
