The Historical Society has had several interns from Dominican University in River Forest and UIC in Chicago. Internship projects have included Archives and collection maintenance and various historical research topics. |
There are many ways in which the Historical Society could use volunteers to help promote its mission of "collecting, preserving, and sharing" the wonderful history of Forest Park. As a volunteer, you could be come in weekly, monthly, or at special events. The Historical Society has many needs; such as, website/social media communication, research projects, general office, collection/Archives maintenance, tour guide, exhibit docent, special event/programming planning, and much more
