Theodore Pierrot (1857-1932) was a well known chef in Chicago, working at many hotels including Edgewater Beach Hotel, Congress Auditorium Hotel and Blackstone Hotel. He was known for his elaborate and artist New Year pieces that were displayed in the lobby of the hotel.  Orginally from Prussia and trained in Paris, he lived for 19 years at 611 Ferdinand Ave in Forest Park.

Thank you Tom Krenek for sharing your photos with us.
