The Historical Society of Forest Park has partnered with Concordia Cemetery on an online campaign to raise $8,000 by the end of May, 2015.  We are looking to raise $3,000 for special events programs surrounding the Eastland Disaster's 100th Anniversary and $5,000 to create a large memorial to be placed near the front entrance of Concordia Cemetery.  The memorial will look like the Eastland and will be created by Concordia Cemetery and will list the victims' names of those buried at Concordia.  To help us raise the funds we need, please visit our online site at www.fundly.com/eastland-disaster-100-years-later and donate.  You can also send checks to The Historical Society of Forest Park  PO Box 311 Forest Park, IL 60130.  All donations are tax-deductible.  To learn more about our events, please contact the Historical Society at 708-232-3747 or email us at forestparkhistory1975@gmail.com.
